Hi, my name is Aaron Hulburd.


I’m a husband, father, and photographer.


My photography journey started when I was younger. I shot nature photography and then dropped away for a couple of years.

I got back into the hobby more recently after meeting my now wife, Lucy.


I first met Lucy at a wedding shower. We were both members of the wedding party and she happened to be the photographer for the event. We quickly found out that we had a lot in common, including our interest in photography. To make a long story short, I was the lucky groomsmen who got the Maid of Honor and we’re growing a photography business together.


Hi there! My name is Lucy Hulburd


I'm a Catholic, SoCal Photographer, and momma. My journey as a photographer began as a hobby I took up in high school which then developed over time as family & friends began to request that I take photos for them. I couldn't understand why they asked me. At the time, I just saw myself as a girl with a semi-fancy camera and a passion for photography. But my family and friends trusted in me and saw much more than that. Their trust was a gift and opportunity that allowed me to obtain experience, creativity, and grow my love for the art.


Several years later, my best friend was getting married and she asked if I could take photos of her wedding shower. This is where I met my now husband, Aaron. He won the "Pin the Mustache on the Groom" contest and I was the girl behind the lens capturing the memory. A memory that now has more significance and sentimental value to me than I could have ever imagined. I captured the moment I first laid eyes on the love of my life and my future husband.


I remember the day my best friend got married, I overheard Aaron tell someone that he wanted to get back into photography. It didn't take long for that to happen once we began courting. My husband and I created Love Burds so that we can combine our passion for photography and simultaneously grow together as a team. There's something about capturing special moments in time and making them last for lifetimes that we just absolutely love to do.
